You’ll explore global literature, share your unique voice, and harness the power of words to bring about positive change. You'll work on projects relating to real-world situations – including themes of sustainability, collaboration and resilience – and you’ll write in a range of forms from prose to poetry, to scriptwriting and non-fiction.

If you don’t meet our entry requirements, you could still join us on a foundation year. This is an extra year at the start of your degree, designed to boost your academic skills and subject knowledge. It’s available on our BA English course.
