Schools and Colleges engagement

Inspiring young people into higher education

We are proud to work with schools and colleges locally and nationally.

Our dedicated team have decades of experience in supporting students and teachers/advisors at both pre- and post-16 level, through events, resources and bespoke guidance.

Examples include our Get Set programme with Team GBUniversity Application Guide, Children's University and Post-16 engagement activities.

We can provide a variety of support, such as:

  • Impartial talks, workshops, webinars and presentations about all stages of the UCAS application process, from making choices, to student finance, to understanding Clearing
  • Outreach and Widening Participation activities for raising aspirations across primary, secondary and post-16 students
  • Subject-specific progression talks and events
  • University taster days
  • Residential visits
  • Subject-specific 'college to university' bridging work and reading recommendations
  • Campus tours
  • Teacher and career adviser support resources
  • And much more...

Our events can be tailored to suit any timeframe or audience. If you're interested in working with us, or have a question about our services, get in touch at sce@hull.ac.uk.
